Santi grew up in Spain. With relatives all over the world, travel opened his mind to the possibility of studying in the U.S., the only member in his family to do so. An academic scholarship and the opportunity to play soccer for Lawrence Tech changed his life. “Ninety percent of my personality comes from soccer,” which gave him discipline and the ability to manage many projects at once, said Santi, a quality engineering supervisor for a technology company. LTU prepared him well for the professional world; LTU is also where he met his wife. He couldn’t be happier with the outcome and he thinks LTU will continue to make a difference. “The rest of my life is going to be a result of me attending LTU.”
